Joey’s Room 🦘

2.5 – 3.5 years

Joey’s Room is designed for curious toddlers ready to explore, learn, and develop independence. At this age, children are building confidence, creativity, social skills, and a love for learning.

Routine & Learning

Each day follows a predictable routine with active play, focused learning, quiet time, meals, toileting, and naps for those who still need them. Children enjoy both morning and afternoon STEAM sessions (science, technology, engineering, art, and maths) to spark curiosity and discovery.

💖 Educator Support

Our educators are experienced, inspiring, and passionate about early childhood. They support children in learning to communicate, share, take turns, and develop self-confidence through guided play and intentional teaching.

🍎 Nutrition & Care

Our in-house chef prepares fresh, wholesome meals every day to fuel growing bodies, with seasonal fruits and vegetables included.

🧘 Wellbeing & Mindfulness

Children learn to manage emotions and develop self-awareness with daily yoga sessions, breathing exercises, and opportunities to explore their own feelings and creativity.

🌿 Daily Experiences

Children enjoy a variety of hands-on activities:

  • Rice, pasta, slime, clay, playdough, sand & water play
  • Art & craft: painting, drawing, pasting & threading
  • Music, singing & playing instruments
  • Pretend play with dolls, tea sets, dress-ups & prams
  • Building with blocks, cars, people & cylinders
  • Finger rhymes & songs to stimulate brain connections
  • Children also have access to quiet spaces like a cosy library corner to rest, read, or play calmly.

🤸 Gross Motor & Outdoor Play

Our outdoor gardens are perfect for running, climbing, digging, painting, riding bikes, and exploring. The sandpit offers sensory play in a quiet area of the yard. Children also participate in weekly gross motor programs at Pit Gym and swimming in Term 4 (parent-funded).

 🚶 Community & Excursions

Weekly walking excursions help children build stamina and explore their local community, including parks, libraries, and shops. These outings also extend wellbeing and social connections.
